'Tis The Season...
As the holidays approach and Thanksgiving just passed --and most of the pups have left for their new homes, I can't help but think of all the things I am thankful for. I am certainly thankful for the wonderful families that adopt the littlest of the Kiaras. Watching their eyes light up when they first see how much growth has occurred, how the angelic wee one they saw at four or five weeks has turned into a playful, animated, adoring little doggie. Always makes me smile.
Wishing everyone the merriest...the happiest...the peacefullest Holiday Season...and the happiest New Year!
Bringing little ones into the world has been the best part of my doggie journey.
Helping them develop and thrive and grow from wee ones into wobbly toddlers at first and then into fast moving agile babes is such a miracle to witness.
Suddenly they are your adoring flock. You can see all this in just a few weeks.
From wet and warm in the palm of your hand to racing about the yard...it's the best part of this journey.
Some get stay here at Kiara to be show dogs and go onto to produce the generation to come. Some like Ozzy go to live in homes like Mike McLoughlin's where he will not only live up to being the best companion but will also achieve some notoriety.
Here he sits enjoying a pleasant November morning with his Whimzee Dental Stick...and I'm sure wondering why Mike is focused on him.
But most will go into their forever loving homes where they will be the best companions. Often I've been asked "is it hard?" Knowing that the families who I entrust them to are prepared to help raise a wonderful, happy TT...gives me a sense of accomplishment and contentment. I am always here for them, no matter what question. And I thank them for making exceptional loving homes for these wee Kiara bundles of joy.
Hi Dennis,
I thought this would bring joy to your heart. Please tell Miss Monroe that her baby is loved and adored. You have no idea how much we adore Merlin. He is simply perfect. You did an amazing job with him.
The meal issue has been resolved with the Pedigree Pouches wet food you told me to get. This pup loves it so much he has been chowing down. I add 1/3 of a pouch to 1/3 of a cup of kibble and he Hoovers it up.
The only thing he does not like is being left alone in the room. He gets very angry if I leave him to take a shower and make a cup of tea! He is never unchaperoned and has a big playpen in the TV room. But he needs company.
Dennis, you have brought us such joy. A million thank yous!

Hey Dennis!
Thanks again! She had a smooth ride home and very excited first night. Lucy has taken pure comfort in our home. She has picked up the stairs climbing very quickly! Now going down is another learning curve. She is amazing with the kiddos and is eating very well. House training so far has been a breeze!
Thank you again for this pup!
Best,
Jeff
Dennis,
Maisie is very happy in her new home! It was a pretty easy drive and ferry ride on Saturday. She has settled into our home, is eating well and only gets up once per night! She is so friendly and attentive to our every move. We’re so happy that Maisie is part of our family!
Debbie
