Boo!
Summer winds down slowly here --still warm as we peel another calendar month off. Almost November and the Impatiens are still blooming (one of the garden dwellers that faints away after a cold breeze.) But the color still grows above them...after all it is Fall.
Still enjoying a hiatus from dog shows --at least the entering/exhibiting part. Being a spectator can also be fun. And the babies in house have been keeping me busy. That's Henry. He will soon be off to join other family members (they are his older family bros) with Susan and her family in the Rocky Mountains. What a good life!
I enjoy hearing all about the the activities enjoyed by everyone with their TTs. Whether it's a birthday celebration, big activities like participating in the Bay Colony Tibetan Terrier Club's Jamboree, or just enjoying how bros can cuddle, please keep in in the loop. Halloween offers a reason to dress up. Whether they are greeting trick'o treaters at the door or participating in costume events...they want to do it! Roadie certainly did.
Dennis,
Roadie is super excited to announce that he earned his Novice Trick Dog title at the Tibetan Terrier Jamboree last weekend!

Happy 8th birthday Doris.
She is a champion show dog and is titled in Canine Good Citizen, Rally, Therapy Dog and Trick Dog. She is sweet, cuddly, independent and a good guard dog. She is also Cooper’s babysitter and service dog. Thank you, Dennis Gunsher for breeding wonderful TTs and to Travis and Miles for sharing her with us.

Happy 2nd birthday, Abbott! You love your pup-cup and we love you.

Hi Dennis,
I think of you often and I am always thankful – that thanks to you – I have Ditto. She is so perfect. Well maybe not perfect in her on leash behavior, but other than that she’s a gem. Loves people so much, and is always on a mission to get people to invite her into their houses. It’s crazy. I thought you might appreciate this picture of her in Maine last weekend….happily looking out over the ocean, alert for any seals and any bald eagles!
Hope all is good with you.
Chris
Hi Dennis,
Toby has grown up a lot since we got him. He and Benny are good pals. Toby is very mellow – perhaps our most laid-back Tibetan yet. When do you think it would be good time to have him neutered?
Thanks. Hope all is well with you and your pack.

Hi all,
Here’s the latest Toby and Benny photo. Toby at 22 pounds is now heavier than Benny but still a good match. Benny was in the chair first but Toby wanted to be there too. Bros...

Dennis,
Someone replaced my Tibetan Terrier with a mouse! Roadie was such a good boy wearing his costume today at the Abington Celebrates Oktoberfest event. I did a ton of talking about this amazing breed!

With sadness I share the news about
Ben's Henry
who found his way over
the Rainbow Bridge.
I am always grateful to know
how they were loved...
right to the time
you have to say goodbye.
Hi Dennis,
Wanted you to know we lost Henry last month. While we are still grieving we also know how much a new focus and contribution of our love of TT babies will help us move forward. Henry was such a perfect angel – he was the best boy – and we would be so blessed to have another of your pups to care for and love. Just wanted to get on the list for the next litter. What a roller coaster.
Here’s a little tribute.
Best,
Ben
Leaving you with a little bit of history. That's Richard and me with the first Tibetan, Cleo, Shalimar's Kiara Cleo, in the early 80's. She was gifted that name after a British singer, Cleo Laine. All I can say...I had lot more hair!
More later...
