Spring
finally arrived and everything warmed up...summer is coming. I always enjoy
the season turning and await the various bloomings spring offers. But the
coming summer is full of color. And full of dog shows.
There
were a couple Spring events. Louise earned a couple points toward her
championship; she’s now just a few singles away. Most of the “exhibiting” has
gone on in handling class. Q-Tip and Lucy have attended almost every week:
refining their ring presence to help them show to their best in the up-coming
summer shows. And it paid off already! Lucy took a third in a Puppy Group
full of quality pups. And that's Miss Elizabeth Valovic, Lucy's co-breeder, smiling with the outcome of her efforts.
And across the seas, in Sweden, Lucy's sister Tessie continues to do her thing with her new owner, Anke Slevin of Nivels Tibetan Terriers. Their dad's, Sayme, owners sent a comparative photo of Tessie and Samye I love. TTs in action!
And nearer-by Mike McLoughlin has been busy with his Bee (Lukilu Little Song of Mine) at the dog shows. Here is the result of one of the events.

The
much anticipated Rain x Deli pups arrived. The four developed beautifully and
are all in their homes. Karen and Charlie (Papa Deli’s owners) took a beautiful
pup from the litter…knowing this would be Deli’s last litter. Deli is an old
man…but he did a great job. Two other sisters went off to live with their new
companion families. That left a beauty I planned to keep here at Kiara:
Vienna, Kiara Tempset.

And
the McLoughlins have a new bloom too, Vienna’s cousin, Cookie. Miss Sugar and Cuervo are the proud
parents. Proud that they have delivered such a beauty!
Even
Faith Lowell’s Ginger, CH Namaste Dancing Backward ‘N Heels, has great
Mom-News. She has mothered a lovely litter of four with Mr. Naldo, CH Kiara
Hollywood Bad Boy. Looking at all these photos one would think the golden brindles have taken over! Just as the genes fell...parents are black, white, and gold...as well as golden brindle.
And love receiving the news and photos from all the TT family friends and owners.
Hello
Dennis,
I
hope you are well after this stressful week.
Our
boy celebrated his first birthday last week and is just as delightful as
ever! He got a few plantains in his food as a treat and got to make a trip to
the dog park!
We
just signed a lease in Brookline for next year! Will have to bring him for a
visit this summer.
Take
care!

Nisha, and Felix
Hi
Dennis hope all is well with your and your gang in Danvers. I just
wanted to say hi and send a spring greeting from Miss Thing. Here she
is on our walk today. As you might guess from this picture, she loves our
off-leash walks in the woods. She has become such a wonderful part of our
family.
Warm
regards and happy spring! Laura
KDee resting
after her grooming.Last
weekend we went to West Palm, FL entered 2 shows. The first day we won the
puppies and showed at the end of the day in an all puppy show. In our
group we came in 3rd. We came in behind a Dalmatian and a Standard Poodle who
were about a year old, 1 point for the day. The next day for
another point we were Best of Winners. We had many people asking about the
line. Here are 2 pictures the day before the show just after grooming
will be getting a pro pic for winners and will send that along when it
arrives. Until then have a great day Debbie and clan.
I
have been meaning to write you and tell you how wonderful Boomer is. He
has more personality than most humans. He is enjoying the other dogs, walks
on trails, chasing chickens (which is not so cool but rather funny), rides in
the car and especially playing outside with his pals.
He
is a very good eater, thus trains easily. I love him too much. Stacey R

Happy Valentine's Day from Panda Stephan!

Bay Colony Tibetan Terrier Club had their annual Specialty during the Topsfield Show weekend. There were good entries each day for the three AKC shows and an exceptional entry for the Specialty evening show. The Kiara TTs and their other families supported these events with many of our TTs represented. Sue Meluzin's Gabby (Zin-Pa's Gossip Girl) took a reserve winner's bitch at the first day's event and her Winnifred (Zin-Pa's Winnifred the Woebegone) took the reserve winner's bitch placement the next day and then at night, at the BCTTC Specialty and the following day, her Elvira (Zin-Pa's Mistress of the Dark) went reserve again to major points. Both Passion, CH Kiara All Fired Up, and her grand-dad Yogi, CH Kiara Harlem Night of Zin-Pa, were awarded "Selects" and earned Points toward their Grand-Championships. And it was an exceptional moment when I got to help Mike and Marie McLoughlin show in the brood bitch class: Sadie (CH Kiara Harlem Song) followed by her daughters, Rosie (CH Lukilu Everything's Coming UP Roses at Kiara) and Bee (Lukilu Little Song of Mine). It was wonderful seeing everyone and especially nice to see my nearest and dearest.
